I don’t know about you but I find it difficult to find a basic white blouse that fits perfectly. If they fit in the shoulders, they’re all wrong in the bust or around the mid-section. I don’t want to pay lots of money for one either because, being white, it doesn’t take much before you’re having to replace it because of an ill-gotten stain or just from normal yellowing that eventually occurs.
Well look no further! It’s such a simple idea – I can’t believe that no one has thought of it before. A made-to-measure white blouse! And it originated not with a clothing company but with a fashion magazine of all things – In Style magazine to be specific.
The concept is simple: you take just two measurements – around your bust, and one around your chest just under your bust.
Then you choose from three styles: classic long-sleeved button-front, short-sleeved button-front with bow-tie neckline, and 3/4 sleeve button-front tunic length.
The fabric has a little bit of stretch to help it fit the body perfectly. And the price is only $59.99!! Now in full disclosure, I haven’t received mine in the mail yet. When I do I’ll give you an update based on how mine turned out. But I wanted to tell you all about it in case you can’t wait and want to give it a try yourself.
Stay tuned for the update – and if you get one, let me know how yours turned out!
