I just love how the nail technicians at the salon can clean up polish “goofs” by dipping what seems to me to be a very large brush in polish remover and then gently edging it around the nail to remove excess polish. Of course, I would never try this at home myself. That’s not to say I don’t make polish mistakes. There always seem to be a few spots that need cleaning up after polishing my nails and I’m happy to say I’ve got the solution for us non-nail-professionals.
Voila! An eyeliner brush!
The small flat-edged brush used for applying a powder eyeliner is perfect for dipping in polish remover and cleaning up polish “goofs”. I’ll bet you have an extra one (from a ‘free gift with purchase’ or some other promotion) somewhere in your make-up drawer. Store it with your nail polishes and you’ll have a quick and easy clean-up tool at hand. Why didn’t I think of this before?!
