If you’ve ever overpacked or underpacked for a trip, you can take consolation that you’re not alone in this. In fact, it’s a favorite topic of mine – one that I’ve even written a chapter about in My Style, My Way, a nifty little book chock full of information for fashionistas. (As a little bonus, at the end of this article you can get a free copy of my chapter. If you’d like to get the whole book at a discounted price of $20, just comment on this blog and we’ll hook up.)
Now back to the point – I recently came across this informative article written by Lisa Robertson of QVC on her “Top 10 Packing Tips”. The only other one I’ll add to her ten is: if your weight allowance will permit it, consider packing a duffle-type bag flat in the bottom of your suitcase. It will allow for the inevitable expansion that occurs when you’re on the road or for picking up a few extra souvenirs. After all, that’s part of the fun of travel. Happy packing!
As promised, download your free copy of the chapter, “The Savvy Traveler”, in my book here.
