Sharing Your Heart

How are you going to wear and share your heart this year on Valentine’s Day?  Of course it’s fun to receive those little special surprises from our loved one(s), and it’s just as much fun to give them.  Sometimes, though, it’s even more rewarding to give to people we don’t even know. Here are a few ideas on how to spread the love:

Clean your closets…and give it away! Career Closet, Dress for Success, Goodwill…pick your favorite charity and share, share, share. Do you need some help making those tough, closet-cleaning choices? I’d LOVE to help you!

Wear your heart on your feet with a pair of Tom’s Valentine Classics, where your purchase will help provide a pair of shoes to someone less fortunate.

Get in the Pink..with the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer! Make the commitment now to start training and fundraising to help find a cure – ~ 80% of the funds you raise will stay in your local area to support the fight against breast cancer.

The most attractive item you can wear to show your heart is your smile of gratitude – and your random acts of kindness.  Pay the toll of the car behind you…tape exact change for a soda to a vending machine…buy a few extra canned goods to give to a local food bank…need more ideas? Visit the Random Acts of Kindness website.

Audrey Hepburn said it best, “For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”

Happy Valentine’s Day!
